This was "home base" in Tuscany, a villa that housed the entire "Capitani" clan of 10 adults and 5 kids under four (Robin, Jack, Todd, Sharon, Kevin, Carol, Carrie, Chuck, Scott, Kelly, Carmen, Jack, Tatum, Gavin & Mia). We ate well, drank well, saw old friends (including the Badalamentis and Angela & Marco) and took in a few sights while visiting neighboring towns, Florence, and the 14th century old castle which was part of our villa's estate. All said it was a trip worthy of celebrating Robin & Jack Capitani's 40th anniversary......

and some frowns (Kevin's vacation included a detour to "la dentista" to pull an infected wisdom tooth... molto dolore!He recovered well, however, thanks to the great doctors, good medicine, and wine.
Of course no one went hungry...
and a very good time was had by all...
