Despite the fact that only the American School and some of the expat community celebrate Halloween, the girls were out in full force in their costumes, and ready to dive in to the candy-ladden extravaganzas at their respective school parties. Carmen dressed up as a witch, and was proud to carry her homemade broom. Tatum was a cheerleader... though we're doubtful her yearning to dance on the sideline with pom poms will carry on much past this year; we'll see.
We had a fantastic evening of trick-or-treating planned with an after-party by the pool, but a torrential rainstorm cut the festivities short... luckily the rain didn't hamper the candy-getting much as we were up and down the three 18 story towers of our condominium complex known as the Grange.
Pictures from the day:
Tatum and her teacher, Ms. Heidi; the spread at T's party; Carmen getting wrapped up as a mummy.
Jia Feng and T at the Pre-K school party (a cheerleader/queen); Carmen the witch.
